A timeless sanctuary

above the lake

Where silence speaks of splendour.

Nestled on the northern shore of Lake Geneva, where the Alps dissolve into mist and the water holds the last of the evening light, Aurélion has welcomed the world's most discerning guests since 1923. Across one hundred years, the hotel has remained unchanged in its essence — a place of unhurried refinement, where every detail is composed with the same quiet precision as the landscape that surrounds it.

Sixty-four rooms and suites, each facing the lake. Three culinary destinations. A spa drawing from the alpine waters of Lac Léman. And a staff whose sole purpose is to ensure that nothing goes unnoticed.

Rooms & Suites

Interiors refined over a century. Views that have never changed.

Every hour has its table.

Le Cellier

Beneath the hotel, Le Cellier houses over 1,200 labels with a devotion to Burgundy, the northern Rhône, and rare Swiss vintages. Available for private tastings, intimate dinners, and exclusive buyouts for up to twelve guests.

L´Orangerie

Beneath a vaulted glass ceiling overlooking the private garden, L'Orangerie serves the most civilised hour of the day. Finger sandwiches, house-made viennoiseries, and a tea selection sourced from estates across Darjeeling, Uji, and the Nilgiris.

Salon du Lac

Dark walnut panelling, leather armchairs, and the quiet crackle of a fireplace. Salon du Lac offers rare single malts, classic cocktails, and house creations inspired by the botanicals of the surrounding alpine meadows. Cigars available on request.

La Terrasse

An open-air terrace suspended directly above Lac Léman. Fresh breads, lake fish, and produce from local farms — served with the Alps as backdrop and the unhurried pace that mornings beside the water demand.

Dorée

Marchand composes seasonal tasting menus rooted in the Alpine terroir and the finest produce of the Rhône Valley. Each dish is a precise, unhurried statement. The wine pairing, curated by our head sommelier, is not to be missed.
